Advantage Cat over 4kg purple - 4 Pack

Advantage breaks the flea life cycle and kills all fleas emerging from the environment to reinfest the dog or cat.

Advantage may be used for preventative flea control, as a single dose if reinfestation from outside animals is a possibility, or monthly for continuous control. Advantage is non staining, non sticky or oily and has no strong chemical smell.

Directions for Use

·        Remove the required tube(s) from the package.  Hold the tube upright and pull off the cap. Reverse the cap and push cap back on the tube. Twist cap to break seal, then remove cap from tube.  The animal should be standing for easy application. Part the hair until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube firmly to apply the solution directly onto the skin. Avoid the pet's eyes or mouth. If licked by cats, signs of distaste may be observed due to the bitter taste.

·        Record treatment date and repeat monthly or as required. Swimming or washing can shorten the duration of flea control. Advantage may be re-applied between 2 and 4 weeks if necessary.

·        Advantage may be used at the same time as treatment for worms and with daily or monthly preventative treatment for heartworm.

·        It is recommended that all cats and dogs in the same environment should be simultaneously protected by Advantage.

 Treatment Recommendations:

  • Advantage is safe for use on pregnant and lactating animals.
  • It is not necessary to treat unweaned puppies and kittens. Treat the mother until weaning, then treat individual puppies and kittens.
  • Swimming or washing may shorten the duration of flea control.
  • Retreatment may be needed before 4 weeks if fleas are observed.
