Recharge® provides rapid restoration of electrolytes as a isotonic
“sports” drink for active dogs. The formulation is specifically matched
to meet the electrolyte needs of dogs, which pant rather than sweat
to cool.
Electrolytes are important body salts, required for nerve and muscle
function. Body salts are lost during exercise, hot weather and other
stressful conditions and if not replaced result in dehydration, muscle
cramping & poor performance.
Recharge® for Dogs also contains citrate salts as a buffering agent
against lactic acid and glucose to enhance rapid uptake of electrolytes.

water. There is no need to wait until the dog has consumed a
meal. It comes in a handy portable pack to administer at events
and during travel.

ADMINISTRATION
Recharge® is best diluted with clean, fresh drinking water as directed.
The diluted drink should be offered as the first drink during cooling
down from exercise. Ensure an adequate supply of clean, cool, fresh
drinking water is available after offering Recharge® drink.

HOW TO USE RECHARGE® DOSE
DILUTION GUIDE

Before exercise 5-10 kg Mix 1.25 mL of Recharge® into 30 mL of cool, clean water
Administration:
• Offer as a drink prior to exercise or after travelling
• Provide a bowl of fresh, cool water in conjunction with the Recharge® drink 11-20 kg
Mix 2.5 mL of Recharge® into 60 mL of cool, clean water 21-40 kg
Mix 5 mL of Recharge® into 125 mL of cool, clean water
After exercise 5-10 kg
Mix 2.5 mL of Recharge® into 60 mL of cool, clean water

Administration:
• Offer as a drink during cooling down period
• Provide a bowl of fresh, cool water in conjunction with the Recharge® drink 11-20 kg
Mix 5 mL of Recharge® into 125 mL of cool, clean water 21-40 kg
Mix 10 mL of Recharge® into 250 mL of cool, clean water

Mix Recharge® at a rate of 40 mL/L of water
A bulk solution prepared and off ered as an alternative drink in conjunction with fresh water. Portion out to each dog as required, in addition to a bowl of fresh water. Bulk solution may be refrigerated. Mix fresh
