For Adult Boxers Over 15 Months of Age The special properties of the Boxer, such as its active lifestyle and unique facial and jaw form make it a very unusual breed that needs special attention, especially in terms of its food.
The Boxer is as powerful and brave as he is gentle and playful. His energy and enthusiasm make him an athlete and favourite household pet.
Royal Canin BOXER 26 Key Features
For feeding Boxer puppies from weaning to 15 months please see MAXI Babydog and MAXI Junior.
• The Boxer has a very heavily defined musculature that is incompatible with excess fat. Because of his active temperament, he puts his joints under severe mechanical stress. BOXER 26 helps maintain muscle mass and protects the joints by means of proteins, a high concentration of L-carnitine, chondroitin, glucosamine and Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids.
• The breed is predisposed to cardio-vascular diseases especially cardiomyopathy that leads to heart failure. BOXER 26 strengthens and protects cardiac functions by means of a combination of taurine, L-carnitine, vitamin E, lutein, Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and polyphenols.
• The Boxer is a brachycephalic breed (brachycephalic jaw and face morphology) so the kibble has been tailor-made with a size and texture that the Boxer can grasp and grind.
